By Road

From Calais 693 miles door-to-door the vast majority of which are on roads of motorway standard.

Motorway, Calais to Paris via A26 then A1.
  A10 South past Orleans then A71 to Clermont Ferrand.
  Pick up the A75 South over the superb Millau viaduct.
  Join the A9 near Bezier as far as junction 39 from where it is an easy 20 minute drive on stunning local
  roads into Durban Corbieres.

The AA estimate 9.5 hours driving from Calais

By Rail, with the option to bring your own car on the train!
With the opening of the new London St Pancras journey time to Paris Nord is just over 2 hours.
From Paris using the TGV, journey time to Perpignan can be just over 5 hours.
Including the transfer in Paris it is possible to travel London to Perpignan in 8 hours 19 minutes without ever leaving the ground.

Alternatively change trains in Lille without leaving the station and travel to Narbonne or Perpignan, you can leave London at 9am on Saturday moring and be in Narbonne by 6pm the same day.
